I was exploring the blogosphere today when I stumbled upon an interesting post by Alan over at Affiliate Confession. The concept is to supercharge your blogging by posting on your blog and commenting on other’s blogs everyday for 30 days. He shows off great results, and has inspired me to attempt this challenge.
I originally found it difficult to even accept this challenge, since it seems like a daunting task. I am still a fairly new blogger, so coming up with new ideas and content every day seems tough. But in the end, it is probably the best way to improve not only my blog but my own skills as well, so I really can’t refuse the challenge.
Declaring to the world is another thing altogether. In fact it’s a very important part of the process, because you are in a sense promising not only to yourself but to others who know you that you are DOING this. You can’t back down anymore now!
But I like the idea of being sort of “locked in”, as it should serve as motivation to really accomplish something good and show people you are capable of great things
This also reminded me of another post I read a long time ago by Steve Pavlina called 30 Days to Success, where he talks about how the concept of a 30 day challenge can be used in so many ways.
You could use this concept to help you eliminate bad habits, develop a skill, follow a passion, learn more etc.
Take a look at his article as well for more ideas and inspiration.
I’ll conclude by saying you should absolutely attempt your own 30 day challenge, whatever it may be. Declare it to your friends and family, and prove yourself! I’m sure you’ll have a fantastic feeling of accomplishment afterwards.
Feel free to comment here to announce your personal challenge, and keep me posted!

Wow, what a wonderful challenge. But, is it okay if I wait until the new year to start. With Christmas and family coming, I see a decrease in blogging the next 10 days. But, wait till next year!
That’s my plan too but with the holidays here, it’s highly unlikely I will be successful. So, I’m going to wait til 2008.
Haha you both make good points, in fact the holiday season was a concern of mine before finally deciding to jump right in. I figured there was no better time than the present
Of course, starting anytime you want is fine (New Years Resolution perhaps?), but the important part is to take that first step at least sometime!
Good luck, and let me know how it goes!
