Great story. Action is really the most important part. I started with a GED, but I have always been self taught. Internet marketing gave me the shortest distance between action and money in my pocket.

I was on a tele-conference with a well known marketer earlier who is about to launch an expensive course about affiliate programs and ppc. Well, I took notes and picked up the key phrases like long tail keywords (which I’d heard before w/o realizing it was just keyword subsets), and then did a search for free adwords training, found your blog and got some of the info I need for free. Thanks so much. Now I am finally taking action after info overload from so-called gurus but at least I didn’t spend a boatload of $ on info that can be had for free if you’ll just take action and seek it out. Thanks for the clear explanation–you helped me a lot. Please feel free to come by and see my hobby site. I’m getting ready to launch my own domain name site using the info I’m learning. (I do have some cool affiliate links at Me Gusta You Tube that maybe some of you might find interesting or not.

Hi there, glad you enjoyed my blog!

I learned that it’s true that most information can be found for free if you’re willing to look for it, but more importantly if you’re willing to WORK for it.

Trust me when I say nothing is worth more than your own experiences. People will yell at you left and right about what is the newest best ways to make money, but only through your own trials and tribulations will you know the truth.

That’s where the time vs. money dilemma comes in. You can pay for information that speeds along your learning, or learn it yourself through research and experimentation.

Personally, I like to mix a little of both, because there is definitely good information being sold, and the better ones detail their own learning processes, so you can see exactly where they are coming from.

Whatever you do, I wish you the best success in your affiliate marketing efforts! I’ll do my best to pass along to you the best information I learn myself
