Your Own Successful ProductAffiliate Marketing is one of the best ways to test a market. You are given access to a ready made product with a proven sales page, and basically all you have to do is send people to these merchants who then specialize in converting them into buyers. You can make big bucks selling a multitude of products, and finding out the niches that really pay off.

But, what happens when you find a golden niche, one where you’re making substantial income everyday? Surely if this is the case, you have a proven marketing method, and you will have gained some expertise in the niche. It may now be the time to look in to creating your own product.

Not only will you make more money selling it yourself, you’ll be able to recruit your own affiliates and really see your sales skyrocket!

Let’s back it up a moment first. Most of you who will be reading this won’t be in this situation of success just yet, and will be asking yourselves, “Well if I can make more money selling my own product, why wouldn’t I just do that from the start?”

You see, the problem with creating your own product is that the chances it will succeed are actually quite slim unless you know exactly what you’re doing.

First off, you have to target a specific niche that has hungry buyers, something which is rarely obvious without a lot of testing. It can also take a lot of work to create a product, so if you aren’t completely sure there is a good chance of success, then you may be wasting your time and money.

Secondly, once you create a product, unless you have a proven marketing method, like perhaps some successful niche sites or PPC campaigns, no one will ever find it. It’s really up to you to get it off the ground, and the best way to do so is with a pre-existing and working marketing method.

This is why affiliate marketing is such a great starting point. It’s a risk free way to experiment, build websites and marketing strategies, and then when you hit a goldmine, it can literally as easy as switching from affiliate links to links to your own sales page.

You could easily become a direct competitor of the products you were just promoting! You will not only make way more money, and be able to have others make YOU money, but the potential for back-end sales are just amazing. People who buy from YOU are more likely to do so repeatedly!
