I was so surprised about the aweber.com’s web analytics tools and i will try to subscribe to them and check if they get new features within a month.

I like the their new email tracking feature which explains who clicked and who doesn’t. I think it is very cool to track your loyal customers.

Had occasion to revisit the aweber site as part of a project I am working on.

I have to say I am very dissapointed at the way it has changed - especially the cost per month and the level of subscribers. In the past the great thing about aweber was exactly that - the cost and the number of subscribers allowed.

Normally I would not look at another service provider… but now, I will probably shop around and end up using something like getresponse or simular.

Overall - nice redesign of website, downside cost and limit of subscribers

Well if you are an existing customer, you don’t have to upgrade, so you can stay with the original price/feature plan.

If not though, GetResponse is an alternative with a possibly cheaper price point; I’m not sure though, I haven’t checked them out myself, but I know they are also very popular.

Nice to come across to your Blog.
I have used Aweber for a couple of months now and even i am satisfied, the price is quite expansive i think, especially if you haven’t a large list. Any cheaper alternatives?

Yeah I agree the price hike seems hard to swallow, especially for a 10k list ($29 to $69 I believe?)… but I have to wonder, these analytics must be able to squeeze at LEAST a couple of extra sales from a big list, due to more relevance and personal messages.

I’ll try and bring some of my own results in the future.

Wow - I had no idea about this increased billing price. the analytics have been great - we have been beta testing them for some time now. But the increased price for 10,000 list members is just a lot.
