This is the exact opposite of what I did when I first tried affiliate marketing...I tried to do a ga-zillion things at one time and created half-ass content/sites. Right now, I just started focusing on one project about a couple of months ago. I've leared alot and plan on implementing it on my next project, which i'm launching in a couple of weeks. Good post man.

There is just so much to do, so many things to try, a lot of which have uncertain outcomes. This sentiment really struck a chord. And I will like to add; things change so very quickly.

I was very happy to discover and employ a method to boost my Google rankings quickly. But recently, Google started to look at things differently and all my work is unraveling.

On a positive note, there are many way to skin the proverbial cat, so I'm not giving up.

Great attitude Pam, IM really can be a test of determination and perseverance, and it sure isn't easy.

Even though that one strategy may be unraveling, I'm sure it will have a residual effect on your site, and can only be of help in the future.

Every little bit counts.

It is very true that nothing comes for free. If making money was that easy, everyone of us would have been a rich guy. However, there is always a brighter side. A planned sustained effort in affiliate marketing would indeed help you to earn a steady income. I am also in queue but my blog is more for social cause.

I just read the web2.0 authority black book by Jack Humphrey and it details an EXTREMELY large amount of work to be done in order to truly take advantage of social marketing...it's actually difficult to just do one step at a time because you have to constantly keep your eyes on all the marketing 'gauges' like flying an airplane.

What we really need to master is: the fine art of multi-tasking...

Thanks for the post. It is so easy to get distracted and feel that you need to focus on every method out there to get traffic to your sites. Getting focused does provided more momentum as you master tasks.
