“Drupal is a CMS at heart.” Amen. I manage different blogs on both, but Wordpress, to me, is the best option for serious blogging. Mind you, I LOVE Drupal as a CMS, and for small scale blogging it gets the job done, but it’s not even really an apples to apples comparison in my mind. One pounds in a nail, the other twists in a screw.

I find WP most flexible. Used to blog on Blogspot but have since changed since Nov last year. WP is indeed the entry level standard for serious bloggers. You have made a good right choice.

My blog used to be on the Drupal platform. After using it for several months, I decided to migrate to WordPress because Drupal just didn’t have the right plugins for what I wanted. WordPress is like a swiss army knife for blogging.

Thanks for commenting guys. The migration is going well so far, just found and tested all the plugins I’m going to need. Now it comes down to a lot of manual editing unfortunately

Will be worth it though I’m sure, I’m already liking it so far.

Aw, I don’t want to be all alone in my drupal world:-) Actually I’m only using drupal so I can have functionality later for my site, forums, e-commerce, etc.

I’m sure you’ll love it though, Wordpress is like google, it’s everywhere!

I tried Wordpress for a while and settled back on Google’s Blogger. Why ? Because my articles go to number 1 or number 2 with search on Google. Google bots love Google blogs. Don’t ask me why….

Its a smart decision buddy. You will feel more easy than before. One benefit you get here in Wordpress, you will be able to promote your product easily with great information and earn money in less time. Secondly, your blog will be indexed very quickly in search engines with less efforts.
