Whenever I read up about new Internet and Affiliate Marketing information, loads of ideas will pop into my head. I’m sure you have the same reaction. The problem is that I sometimes get totally overwhelmed with these ideas, and I used to forget them all the time! There’s just so much to learn and remember, that there really isn’t space for everything.
That’s why you absolutely have to jot down your ideas and thoughts about this kind of stuff. You’re doing this research for reason, what good is it if you just forget it.
It doesn’t matter how you take notes. Trust me when I say I have the worst note taking system in existence. I just create notepad files on my desktop and make the name the note I want to take. I have over 30 notepad files, all spread out over my desktop, some with content inside, some without.
I know it’s a terrible way to take notes, but the most important thing is that they are there. After I started taking notes, I began to make more connections and see how my thoughts have progressed and continue to build on my earlier theories. Compare this to how I used to completely overload my brain with information, just to practically forget it all and start all over the next day.
So trust me when I say your progress will greatly improve when you take notes. On a side note, if you do take notes, what is your favorite way to jot stuff down?
