Photoshop is my foe. Always has been, always will be. That, and my nemesis, CSS, are my two most hated aspects of affiliate marketing.
Sure, dirt ugly websites can sell, but everyone knows a nicer one has much better chances. So, today I bring you an easy little tip that is sort of a spin off of my 8 Great Ways to Increase Affiliate Link Clickthroughs.
A rollover button can really entice your viewers to click. When their mouse hovers over it, it changes. That totally catches their attention.
Here is a really easy tutorial on how to do this.

Try it out! I’ll bet your CTR will go up, specifically if the image is in a place where people frequently drag their mouses across.

Here’s an example of something even I, a photoshop newb, could do.

All I did was make two copies of an photoshop order button I had lying around (that I did not make :P), and added an outer glow to the second copy.
Here I went ahead and made a code template for you to try. Download the text file here. (Right Click - Save As)

Just a friendly tip: you might try illustrating posts like this. Just use the technique you are linking to to create a rollover button so that your readers can see what you’re talking about.

I actually hate CSS myself, photoshop, I can deal with. But this is actually a not a bad idea, rollover buttons are cool.
