Lazy Million Dollars ReviewLazy Million Dollars is a new eBook written by a good friend of mine named Chris Stigson. He’s a young entrepreneur quite like myself, and he’s having some really awesome success online.

He makes money in a variety of different niches, and this is actually his first attempt at an internet marketing related product. This is a big plus to me, because it lets me know that this eBook is not all about IM hype and rehashed get rich quick schemes.

These are real strategies that he uses everyday to generate income online, and they work. I was actually one of his beta version readers, and I just re-read the final version over the past couple of days and it has only improved.

My full review after the jump!

Lazy Million Dollars begins with a very interesting section about placing yourself in the “Lazy Millionaire’s Mindset”. Chris outlines some really insightful thoughts about the mechanics of making sales online. I was quite impressed with these first couple of chapters; they outline how to identify markets that are hungry to buy, and how to sell to them. In fact, I got a really great idea of my own after reading these chapters again!

These core marketing concepts are so important, and they are often missed by many.

The next few chapters cover some of the basics of keyword research, selecting products to promote, advertising with PPC, and a bit of copy writing and ad writing technique. Overall, these chapters are more for the beginner, but there are definitely some very good tips sprinkled throughout. A good refresher course I’d say, even for someone with some experience in these areas already.

Next, Lazy Million Dollars concentrates on making websites and collecting leads. It starts off as a basic guide to creating a website, such as buying a domain and hosting, to setting up Wordpress, and creating effective affiliate links and mailing list sign up forms. There is also a small SEO section, which is focused mostly on optimizing a Wordpress domain and developing good on-page SEO. Once again, a bit basic, but some great tips sprinkled here and there.

There are also a couple of chapters about marketing, focusing mostly on social networks. Here, he talks about how social bookmarking can give you a great starting boost, along with strategies to get the most from it. Chris also discusses leveraging the power of Squidoo, as well as Myspace.

Finally, there is a great section about creating your own assets, and truly building a business. This is another high point of the book, as it returns to the essential fundamentals of marketing online in any capacity. It could really mean the difference between a site that sells, and one that doesn’t.

At over 100 pages, Lazy Million Dollars is actually quite an easy read. It’s very well written, and split up into easy to digest sections. Of course, I didn’t talk about every topic in this eBook, but the Lazy Million Dollars sales page will give you more info.

Even though the sales page is really hyped up, it’s actually pretty accurate in the sense that this is quite the motivational eBook. It’s the mindset that this eBook can put you into that’s the most valuable, and is definitely worth it. There are great bonuses bundled along as well.

Overall, while the “action” strategies are a bit on the basic side, the core marketing principals and theories included are things that very few marketers I’ve seen discuss so openly. If anything else, these make the book well worth it’s cost, and the rest of the content is an added bonus. I would definitely recommend it to beginners mostly, as well as some more advanced marketers struggling to make sales.

(P.S. You’ll see my testimonial on the Lazy Million Dollars website. Even though language is just a “tad” stronger than my review and hypes the product up a bit, take my word above for it. It is definitely worth a read.)
