A few days ago, I was reading some of the more popular make money online blogs, and I was shocked at how someone was making hundreds of thousands of dollars with PPC advertising. So of course, I became pretty interested in this prospect, even though I had failed a couple of times with it in the past.
I started reading up and researching all day. And after a good 3-4 hours of that, I set up a campaign that I thought would be super profitable. As you can guess, that wasn’t the case, and what really happened is that I wasted the entire day on this.
The problem is that there are SO many different ways to make money online, that sometimes you just want to do it all. In fact, that was one of my main problems when I was first getting started; I couldn’t focus on just one strategy at a time.
That’s why it’s best to stick to your strengths, and develop your skills in the things you enjoy and are good at. This could be anything to writing, SEO, PPC, graphic design, video marketing, etc.
Of course, you will have to be a jack of all trades near the beginning, but later on when you have some money to invest, you can outsource all of the tasks that you aren’t interested in, or take too much time for you, to other people who specialize in these matters.
It always helps if you have friends too that are good at these things, for example I have a friend who is pretty good with photoshop so luckily I can get a hand with design stuff I can’t do.
So find your passion in affiliate marketing, and stick with it. You’ll sure to go far!

I have about the same luck with PPC affiliate marketing. Its just about breaking even, or losing money. I think I just have to find the right product to try to market. Most PPC super affiliates though have niche keywords they know for certain products, and that’s where they make their sales from. I guess I have yet to find some niche keywords =P.
The thing that the “super affiliates” often fail to mention is the amount of money they put into PPC campaigns to turn a profit. As the saying goes, you need to spend money to make money.
Very true, and that’s why it has to be your best skill if you ever want to see profits!
I could pretty much agree to it. It’s like blogging also. You gain more readership in sticking into one niche. That’s what I’m aiming now. I used to blog about various topics but right now I am concentrated more about internet and technology and I accounted my increased traffic to it. Well of course, it’s undeniably true that Entrecard also did part of it.
Nice blog!
