Web Traffic in Black & White Review

Web Traffic Black & White is author Tony Williams attempt at a complete Web Traffic resource. It covers everything from how to build your site for maximum traffic, to buying traffic, and mostly all about SEO techniques to get those search engines noticing you.

The book is very much newbie friendly, in fact, I would only recommend this book to newbies. Sure, it has some points that a seasoned marketer may not have heard of, but overall it is pretty basic stuff. Although that basic stuff is covered well.

This book is 90% SEO, and 10% other little tips and tricks. Of course SEO is not the only Web Traffic method, and he does cover a few other techniques, but it’s good that he focused mostly on this one area in my opinion. This isn’t the best resource about SEO that I have read, but it does deliver on what it promises, which is a complete overview of web traffic methods.

Web Traffic Black & White does do something that I have not seen in many eBooks though, and that is at the end of every section (and there are many), there are “related links” and “useful tools”. These are actually quite useful resources should you want to read more about the subject. Some of the useful tools are programs that he is an affiliate for, but overall this doesn’t really take away from the experience, as these are usually just one option.

The main issue with Web Traffic Black & White is simple. The book is meant for beginners. And the truth is that most of the information found in this eBook can also be found on the web as free resources. So if you have been doing affiliate marketing for a while and have made some websites already, chances are you will have found this information. But if you are a beginner, then I can recommend this book to you because it does do a great job combining all these resources into one easy to read package, saving you lots of time.

So in conclusion, if you are relatively new to affiliate marketing, then I would recommend Web Traffic Black & White to speed up your learning process and get you started driving traffic to your sites. But if you think you have a good handle on most traffic generation methods and SEO in general, then chances are you’ve seen most of what this book has to offer.
